BA1 Intro to Accounting I (Pre-requisite to BA2 Accounting)
Description: Basic principles of accounting records, the effect of business relationships on accounting records, recording transactions in simple books or original entry, posting and closing ledgers, adjusting and closing entries, preparing financial statements, reconciling bank statements, 6- and 8- column worksheets.

BA2 Intro to Accounting II
Description: Skill development for automated general ledger accounting, end-of-fiscal-period reports, recording transactions in special journals, payroll records and reports, uncorrectable accounts, plan assets and depreciation, notes and interest, voucher and inventory systems, balancing ledger accounts, and accrued revenue and expenses.

BA3 Personal Finance
Description: Topics cover job search strategies; employment, income, and benefits; banking, income tax, and savings; investments; cost of credit and bankruptcy; renting; purchasing auto insurance; planning for the costs of marriage, children, vacations, emergencies, divorce, and death.

BA4 Business Law
Description: An overview of Business and the Legal System in America. The presence of Common Law in Business, Uniform Civil Code and Nature of the Judicial Process.

BA5 Career Education
Description: Course involves internet application with activities involving aptitude assessment, career search, job search, career portfolio (including cover letter, résumé, letters of reference, and academic work samples), job applications, and job interview. Students will apply concepts by taking an aptitude assessment, which they will use to conduct a career and job search, complete a job application, and develop and respond to a mock job interview.
